CHIARA DESTE, “IN YOUR MIND”.

Segnaliamo quest’oggi l’uscita di un brano indipendente, “In Your Mind” della giovane cantautrice calabrese, Chiara Deste, 24 anni, biologa della nutrizione con la passione della musica fin da bambina.

Influenzata dalla musica anni ’90 e dei primi anni ’00, Chiara s’ispira a band come i Verve, gli Oasis, i Blur e ad artisti del calibro di Eric Clapton, di Phil Collins, di Mark Knopfler e di Nathalie Imbruglia.

Non disdegna, tuttavia, il dream pop (in particolare, le piacciono i Mazzy Star), la musica anni ’70 e ’80 (come gli Hall & Oates) ed il progressive rock.

Il brano che presentiamo è in inglese, e rappresenta un viaggio introspettivo che ci riporta all’infanzia, quando ogni cosa brillava e non vedevamo il mondo cadere a pezzi.

E’ stato scritto durante il lockdown, ed è ispirato, con ogni probabilità, dalla situazione attuale che ci sta facendo isolare da tutto.

E’, quindi, un messaggio di evasione mentale da tutto ciò.

Chiara ci annuncia, infine, che a breve uscirà il suo secondo pezzo, stavolta in italiano, non appena i suoi studi glielo consentiranno.
